Balance III

Balance is attained when we are able to live mindfully in the moment and include our inner knowing in all the choices we make. Our gut instincts and sensory perceptions are always authentic and need to be respected. Shift old patterns of limited thinking that no longer serve you well and step into an open and creative mind, choosing better moment by moment!

Balance II

Balance requires an open mind and neutral observation. Observe state of mind and body in the moment. Are they in unison? If not, notice what is present without judgement or interpretation. Engage all of your senses and listen, smell, taste and feel what is within. Take a deep breath and focus on realigning with heart, returning to a natural state of peace and harmony.

Balance

Balance requires alignment between mind and body. Whenever vigilance prevails, we may experience a disconnect with our body and sensory perceptions. The moment you notice your mind out of synch with your body, stop what you are doing and say “Oops!” in a joyful way! Doing this can be the fun wake-up call and turning point for positive change. In that moment, you can return to a healthy sense of balance, acknowledging your physical sensations and choosing wisely with an open heart and light!

Expand Your Mind VII

Consider ‘goodness’. What is it? Notice what sensations arise in your physical being without engaging in any mental activities, thoughts, memories or stories. Maintain 100% focus on the present moment and what is physically happening within. As you do this, allow your mind to become more and more open, to become vast and limitless like a clear blue sky, and then allow yourself to become one with the sky. Feel yourself ever expanding out to the cosmos and beyond. Revere in this expanded state you’ve created for yourself. Feel the spacious peace within you.

Congratulations! You have expanded your mind!

Expand your Mind

Adopt an open and expansive mind. Let go of memories and the rational thinking mind, relaxing fully in the present moment. When you feel grounded, ponder happiness. What is it? Without words, mental activity or expectations, see what happens for you. A feeling of blankness or void may arise. If so, allow yourself to fall into it and even float in it.

In reality, happiness is a fleeting moment that often cannot be specifically defined with detail. There are so many things present when happiness occurs, including harmony of mind, body, spirit, heart and environment. Neutral observation is key. Let those memories fade away!
