One Step at a Time

Focus on one thing that you want to change in your life.  Perhaps it is creating more time for self-care or to pursue a special interest of yours.  Think about what you need to do to achieve your goal and in particular, what specific steps need to take place in order for this goal to become a reality.

Write down your step-by-step plan for action.  Create strategies for removing any barriers that currently exist or that might possibly arise.  Set a timeline for completing each step and commit yourself to it.  It is often helpful to share your goal with a friend.  Having your own personal cheerleader is worth its weight in gold!  Your reward will be increased confidence and improved self-worth, knowing that you can succeed with whatever you put your mind to.
